Insight into the mind of a redneck from Dunbarton, New Hampshire

Just setup my first dual monitors. I have an ATi 9550 Videocard, so XP recognizes the setup as two monitors, not one stretched desktop (I can set different resolutions, refresh rates and my wall doesn't get stretched across both desktops, it shows correctly on each separate monitor). Is there a way or proggie to set separate walls on each monitor and is there a way to set just one monitor to go into powersaving mode and/or a screensaver? Thanks

There are work arounds for setting up different walls for each monitor, but I don't care for them (especially with a different screen res on each monitor).... and UltraMon does a lot more than just allow you to set wallpapers, and screencavers.

Koasati, With this program do you have any WB related problems displaing the additional buttons on the title bar? Do you have to skin them or will they show up in classic format? Looks like something I might want to try.

Been a while since I tried it, and I really want it, just waiting for some spare cash. I'm using the nVIDIA software for now ....... free, but not nearly as versitle as UM. But I digress......
I had no issues with WB, and UM. I don't remember exactly about any titlebar buttons it adds, but like nVIEW, which adds titlebar buttons, you can turn them off. (they show up where they want, and are unskinnable with nVIEW)

UM has a 30 day, non crippled demo.......... try it out, it's a great app.

Thanks, I think I will.

Thanks Koasati, I checked it out and I'm gonna give it a go. Lantec, it adds buttons to the titlebar, but UltraMon will let you skin them.
